November 2019 Letter from Mrs. Starzynski
Dear Eagleside Community:
It was a pleasure to see many of you during Parent-Teacher Conferences especially with the new changes in the calendar. It is always our goal to meet with 100% of our parents. If you were unable to make your conference time, please contact your student’s teacher to schedule a time to meet.
Thank you to those who have already completed the Fall Parent Survey. For those of you who haven’t, you still have time. We appreciate the feedback so we can continue to work together to make Eagleside a great place for students! The link to the survey is: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Eagleside2019FallSurvey.
Eagleside has recently added a Center Based Autism Program. I want to extend a very warm welcome to these new families. We are delighted to have you join our Cowboy Team! With the program, we welcome Mrs. Nicole Hackworth as the lead teacher, along with para educators, Suzanne White, Amber Heathman, Josette Ogren, Diana Swank, Jessica Garcia and Diane Sigurdson.
We put safety of our students as a top priority at Eagleside. It is essential that we practice safety drills with our students and staff on a regular basis. Each month, we focus on a specific Standard Response Protocol (SRP). The protocols include a Lockout, Lockdown, Evacuation, Shelter-in-Place and a Hold. If you happen to be in the building during one of these drills, it will be crucial for you to participate in the full execution of the drill. A reference is included for you to become familiar with the drills we use across the district. Emergency Terms Flyer
Fall weather is here. Please be sure your student is dressed for the changing temperatures. All students must be prepared to go outside every day that is warmer than 20 degrees.
