Mission Statement:
To support well-being and academic success of students by promoting health and safety, intervening in both actual and potential services, and actively collaborating with others to encourage student self-management, self-advocacy, and educational success.
Student Health is an important priority in Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8. On your left, you'll find forms and other informational documents that we use to support student health while students are in school, as well as information and resources for parents to access for home use.
Our district has a school nurse assigned to every school to support students with unique health needs in each building. Their names and contact information are located on right side of this page. Please feel free to reach out to them with any questions about your child's health.
Good student health has a positive impact on student learning. Below is a chart that highlights the related educational functions to the work we do in Health Services for our students.VIEW THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT "HOW SICK IS TOO SICK?" or "¿QUE TAN ENFERMO ES DESMASIADO ENFERMO?"
