Mrs. Denise Matthews
Hello FFC-8 families. My name is Denise Matthews and I am a Speech/Language Pathologist that works with students with speech and language needs in the Early Intervention Program. I have a Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. I also hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech/Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I feel privileged to be working with preschool students at Weikel Elemetary on Ft. Carson. Working with preschool students has also been my passion. I love hearing their voices in the classroom as they interact with their teachers and their peers. I am a New York native, but love living in Colorado with my husband and 2 dogs. When not in school, I enjoy working out at Orangetheory Fitness, watching/going to sporting events, traveling and hanging out with friends. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have. I can best be reached at: firstname.lastname@example.org I will enjoy the opportunity getting to know and work with your child.
