Academics are a high priority. Teachers use formative assessment practices to monitor student progress, provide descriptive feedback, and actively engage students as learners. Differentiation of instruction is woven into the structure of the day in all subject areas to meet the individual needs of the learners.

Patriot is a Title I school and provides opportunities to improve student outcomes for all students. Title I supports equity for all Patriot Students and is designed to provide additional academic support and learning opportunities and parent involvement. Title I funds are aligned with school-wide goals and are allocated to schools with the highest percentage of students qualifying for free and reduced lunch. As a Title I school, Patriot develops programs to support effective instruction, monitors students’ social and emotional learning, reports progress to families, ensures all staff are licensed to provide research based strategies, and we include families in decision making.

Patriot cultivates a trusting, collaborative environment, always advancing to do what is best for students each day. Patriot Staff will engage stakeholders to include staff, students, parents, FFC8 district, and the community in order to develop a “highly effective school.” Community partnership driven by open communication between staff members, students, parents, and the community is a priority. There are varieties of opportunities for parent and community involvement, which serve to further enrich our children. The spirit of volunteerism and community support are constants in the life of our school.
