Ms. Hackworth

My name is Nicole Hackworth. I am currently the Autism teacher at Eagleside Elementary School. My career in the Autism field started in Hawaii where I lived for 7 years. I began my journey in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) field working with early learners in the school setting, center-based setting, as well as the home setting. I continued to work with children with Autism in California as a lead therapist where I supported the build of a new program and where I traveled throughout the Ventura area to provide ABA services. Now I am at my final stop, Colorado, my home state! I started working for D8 as a para-educator for a couple years, completed a year as a substitute teacher and now in the position of Autism teacher where I am able to make the most impact within the school setting, and apply the highly affective ABA and teaching strategies that I have obtained throughout the years. I am a graduate of CSU-Global, where I majored in Education and Business. I currently live in Colorado Springs with my dog Ikaika. When I am not busy with teaching responsibilities you can find me in my craft room building my small business or in my garage building my wood skills or in the gym letting go of the daily responsibilities.
