The Para I's are highlighted with the Teachers below.
Mrs. Dee's Green Classroom
This will be my 8th year teaching in District 8. I began my teaching career as a preschool teacher over thirty years ago. As a military spouse, I have had the pleasure teaching all over the world. I have been married almost 44 years and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. All my children and grandchildren live here in Fountain. I have a BA in Early Childhood and a MA in Early Childhood Special Education. I remember playing "school" with my dolls at the age of 5, so I knew at an early age I wanted to teach. I have always taught preschool. It is amazing how much they grow and learn during their time at preschool and I love being able to experience it with them.
I am a para in Ms. Dee's room. I am also currently a full time college student at Pikes Peak Community College. I am working towards my bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. I would love to be a pre-school teacher at Conrad Early Learning Center. I love working with kids and helping them be successful. My favorite hobbies include school and playing tennis.
Mrs. Gasser's Green Classroom
Hi, I am Sarah Gasser. I have been working in the Fountain Fort Carson School District for 7 years. Prior to teaching preschool at Conrad, I taught Special Education at Jordahl Elementary School. My passion is working with students and families. I love to see a child’s excitement to learn new things! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, Ella. We love to do anything outdoors, including: hiking, snowboarding, running and swimming. We also travel to Michigan quite often to see our extended families. Although we are not native to Colorado, we love it here and have called this our home for the last 9 years!
I like to be called Jessie. I am a single mom with three wonderful kids. In my spare time I am a Girl Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Leader and a tutor for the Children’s Literacy Center. I also love to read. This is my fourth year with District 8 and my third year in preschool. I love working with preschoolers because they always keep you on your toes.
Mrs. Rangel's Blue Classroom
Hi there! I’m beyond excited to be joining the Conrad ELC team this Fall! I’ve been teaching since 2011. Five of those years were within the early childhood classroom. Although I’ve had the opportunity to work in various grade levels, I’ve found that early childhood is where I belong. My family—my husband, daughter, and two dogs-- and I will be relocating from Guam this summer. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our time on the beautiful island but are looking forward to all that Colorado has to offer! In our free time, my family and I enjoy spending time outside—hiking, biking, and just exploring. I also like to read and cook. I’m looking forward to the new school year and cannot wait to meet all of the staff and students!
Hi, I'm Jessica! I joined the Conrad team as a paraprofessional in 2018. I am a proud Texan transplanted to Colorado because that's where the Army sent us.
I am a proud dog mom to two fur babies. I love country music and sports! I am super excited to work with your children this year.
Miss Ally's Red Classroom
Hello! My name is Ally Mikesell and I moved to Colorado Springs in the summer of 2020 from Ohio. I have been teaching preschool since the fall of 2019. My interest in education stemmed from my experience in high school where I assisted teachers in preschool classrooms, from then on I knew preschool was the place I wanted to be! Teaching young children is so rewarding and it allows me to learn from them just as much as they learn from me. Outside of school I like to be active, try new things, and explore. Adventure is out there!
I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, the oldest of eleven children. I joined the US Army right out of high school, where I met and married my husband who was also a soldier. We are now both retired from the army. We have been married for 37 years, have 5 wonderful children and 5 beautiful grandchildren. I have been working as a para in the FFC8 district for over 10 years. I love working with preschool-aged children, watching them grow and learn new skills everyday.

I am looking forward to meeting my new students and families and working with the wonderful staff at Conrad!
Hi I am Miss Lynnae! I have lived in the Fountain community for 22 years. I have 4 children, 23 years, 21 years, 17 years, and 14 years. They all have gone through preschool, Jordahl, FMS, and FFCHS! So you can see, the district 8 community is truly the place we call home. I love to read a good book, go on hikes, watch movies, and most of all spend time with my grandbabies. I am excited to spend this next school year getting to know each of your children as we learn and grow and have a fantastic year with Ms. Kayla!
