Happy October Eagleside families!
I hope you’re welcoming the change of seasons and all the beauty Autumn has to offer by enjoying some family time outdoors!
Just a few school updates to pass along to all families. Next week we will be conducting our annual hearing and vision screenings at Eagleside. You will be notified if further hearing or vision evaluations are recommended for your child/children.
As we enter cold and flu season remember the importance of covering coughs and sneezes using tissues or by sneezing into the elbow if needed. Getting into the habit of good hand washing practices will greatly help to reduce illness at home and school. Washing hands with warm, soapy, running water for the approximate time to sing the” Happy Birthday” song twice is recommended.
Remember, if your child is sick, please keep them home until they feel better so they can fully participate in learning and reduce the chance of spreading the illness to friends at school.
Please check to see that the school has all updated immunization records on your child.
If your student is exempt for one or more vaccines please complete the None-Medical Immunization Exemption form (for personal or religious reason). A new exemption form must be filled out every school year, it does not carry over from year to year.
Please reach out if you have any problems, questions or concerns, and be well!
