Miss Curl
I am excited to be teaching third grade at Jordahl Elementary School! This is my seventh-year teaching with it being my fifth year at Jordahl. I am passionate about teaching in order to help students grow as learners in order to achieve their dreams. I look forward to working together in supporting your child on their educational journey this year.
Here is some more information that you may want to know about me. I grew up in Fountain and attend schools in School District 8 from kindergarten through my senior year of high school. I graduated with a B. S. in Liberal Studies with the focus on elementary education and a special education endorsement from Colorado State University-Pueblo. I completed my master's in education degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Trauma and Resilience in Educational Settings from Concordia University Portland, Oregon. I am currently on my second year in third grade at Jordahl. Before that, I taught fourth grade at Jordahl for three years and second grade for two years at a charter academy in School District 3 prior to that.
I spend my spare time with my family. I love to take care of my two yellow labs named Calie and Sugar. I will coach soccer for my third year at Fountain Middle School. I have been coaching soccer for a total of ten years. I love to support students in learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and to have fun learning the sport.
I look forward to getting to know you and your students this school year! Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions or concerns that you might have at ccurl@ffc8.org.
