New FFC8 Director of Student Achievement and Professional Learning

Fountain-Fort Carson School District is excited to welcome back Shelah Hansen as the new Director of Student Achievement and Professional Learning.

Mrs. Hansen is a former Assistant Principal at Fountain Middle School and has served as a building and district leader for 12 years.

Prior to stepping into public school leadership, she spent 10 years teaching at the elementary level in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades and was also an English as a Second Language Teacher.

Mrs. Hansen graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood and she holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University.

Mrs. Hansen is excited about returning to FFC8 and to work alongside such a knowledgeable and dynamic leadership team.

She is honored to support staff across the district and to collaborate with building leaders to make a positive impact on the growth and achievement of our students.
