FFC8 Turkey Giveaway

  • Date: Thursday, November 21, 2024
  • Time: 4 p.m. (First come, first served)
  • Location: Trojan Arena 10725 Trojan Point, Fountain 
  • Must be a FFC8 family member to receive a turkey and Thanksgiving basket. Student or Staff ID required. 

Bob Telmosse Foundation- Christmas Gifts Giveaway

  • Date: Saturday, December 14, 2024
  • Time: 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. (or while supplies last) 
  • Location: Colorado Springs Event Center, 3960 Palmer Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909
  • No preregistration, children must be present.
  • Families with children aged 0-18 years.
  • Each child will receive a book, stuffed animal, age-appropriate toy, and a chance to win a bike. 
  • Each family will receive a bag of food. Children must be present at this event to receive a gift/ gift card.

Christmas Unlimited

  • Application deadline: Early December
  • Location: Peak Vista, 350 Lyckman drive, Fountain
  • During the holiday season, Christmas Unlimited collects and distributes toys to families in need in El Paso and Teller counties in a store-like environment. Parents select gifts for their children. Gifts for children 0-12 years old.

Christmas Tree Project

  • Provides free fully decorated trees to families in need. Fill out a form to request a tree.
  • The tree giveaway is typically held within the first two weeks of December. 
  • Any requests that come in past the distribution will be added to the list for the following year.
  • No documents are required.

Kenzi's Causes

  • Date: December 4th, 2024
  • Time: 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. (or when toys run out) 
  • Location: YMCA, 3035 New Center Point, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80922
  • Assistance with toys for children birth- 18 years old. Each child is provided a big toy, small toy, a wooden toy car, and a stocking. They encourage you to bring something to take the toys home in. (i.e. black lawn bag) 
  • Required: Birth certificates for each child you'd like to get toys for. Parents MUST bring a photo ID. Registration is required and will open at the end of November.

Angel Tree

  • Location: 208 Cunningham Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80911
  • Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am- 3 pm. Closed for lunch from 12-1 pm. 
  • Provides Christmas gifts through Angel Tree to seniors and children in need. Once you have been accepted into the program an Angel will receive your submitted Christmas Wishlist and donors in the community will purchase the new clothes and gifts. 
  • Requirements: Provide photo ID, proof of residence, identification for child, and detailed information about your request.

Fountain's North Pole, previously known as Blue Santa

  • Provides Christmas gifts to students in Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8, Prek- 12th grade. 
  • Student must attend AIM, Aragon, Conrad, ELC, Eagleside, FFCHS, FMS, Jordahl, Mesa, Welte/FFCOA
  • If active duty military must utilize Mountain Post Santa's Workshop

Holiday Support For Military Families 

Mountain Post Santa's Workshop

  • Date: Open now through November 16th.
  • Needs-based organization benefiting active-duty military members, Army Services members stationed in Colorado. 
  • Provides gifts, books, and games to children in need. 
  • Requirements: Children, ages 6 months- 12 years old, active Army member, must provide a current LES and DD 1172-2

Trees for Troops

  • Date: TBD, Save the date for the last week of November or the first week of December annually.
  • Provides free live trees for DoD ID Card Holders on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Requirements: Soldiers or dependents with valid ID and a valid Trees for Troops voucher, at a date/ location to be determined. 
  • A soldier's chain of command must be contacted for information about vouchers.

Warrior Warehouse Toy Giveaway 2024

  • Date: December to be determined open to ranks E5 and below. December TBD is open to all ranks in need. 
  • First come, first serve.
  • No children allowed for shopping and only one parent. 
  • Ages infants- 17 years.Must live in the household. 
  • For children ages 1-12, if they have received gifts from Santa's workshop they are ineligible to also receive from Warriors warehouse, but ages 13-17 can. 
  • Requirements: Open to active duty only. No application is needed. be enrolled in DEERS.

  • 0900-1300 coats and winter wear available. Adult and child.

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado and El Paso County 

  • Assistance programs, including Christmas, for Immigrants, Families in poverty, Women, and others. 
  • Free groceries for holiday meals, stocking stuffers for kids, Christmas gifts or decorations, and more are offered.

Lighten the Load (LEAP for Fountain Utility Customers) 

  • Provides utility assistance to individuals and families through the Fountain Community who are experiencing a financial emergency, regardless of income
