FFCHS Wind Ensemble Earns High Marks at State Concert Band Festival

Congratulations to the Fountain-Fort Carson High School (FFCHS) Wind Ensemble for earning a Superior with Distinction at the Colorado Bandmasters Association State Concert Band Festival on April 17th. 

The State Concert Band Festival showcases Colorado’s outstanding concert bands by allowing them to perform in a superb concert hall while giving them the opportunity to be critiqued by some of the nation’s finest music educators. This year the festival was held in Fort Collins at Colorado State University. 

Superior: This rating reflects the finest conceivable performance for the event and class of participants being evaluated – worthy of the distinction of being recognized as among the very best.
