Assessment dates reflect “testing windows”, except PSAT and SAT.
Common End-of-Unit Assessments are ongoing each month.
* State assessments are required by law. Dates are tentatively published by CDE.

August 2026

• August 11 through September 3: ELA & Math Pre-Assessments (Grades 1 through 8)
• August 12 through September 3: FFC8 Secondary Reading Screener (Grades 6 through 8)
• OPTIONAL - TBD by Principal: FFC8 Benchmark Assessments: Reading & Math (Grades 2 through 8)
• August 17 through 28: DIBELS 8: Beginning-of-Year
  • Grades 1 through 3: All students
  • Grades 4 through 5: New students or any students who previously scored Intensive or Strategic
    (OPTIONAL: Test all students)

September and October 2026

• September 8 through 18: DIBELS 8: Beginning-of-Year (Grade K)
• September 8 through 25: CogAT (Grades 5 and 8)
• September 14 through October 2: Kindergarten Readiness Assessment
• October 1: Results Matter Assessment – Baseline Due (Pre-K)
• October 23: Results Matter Assessment Rating Window – Data Finalized (Pre-K)

November and December 2026

• December 8 through 18: DIBELS 8: Middle-of-Year
  • Grades K through 3: All students
  • Grades 4 through 5: New students or any students who previously scored Intensive or Strategic
    (OPTIONAL: Test all students)

January, February, and March 2027

• January 11 through February 12: *ACCESS for ELLs: English Language Acquisition (Grades K through 12)
• January 21 through February 4: Results Matter Assessment Window – Data Finalized (Pre-K)
• OPTIONAL - TBD by Principal: Benchmark Assessments: Reading & Math (Grades 2 through 8)
• February 22 through March 12: CogAT (Grade 2)

April and May 2027

• April 5 through 23: *CMAS & CoAlt/DLM: ELA, Math & Science (Grades 3 through 8 and 11)
• April 12 through 23: *PSAT: Grades 9 and 10
• April 12 through 23: *SAT: Grade 11
• April 22 - 29: Results Matter Assessment Window – Data Finalized (Pre-K)
• May 4 through 14: DIBELS 8: End-of-Year
  • Grades K through 3: All students
  • Grades 4 through 5: New students or any students who previously scored Intensive or Strategic
    (OPTIONAL: Test all students)
