  • What if we have not “Demonstrated a successful history of participation in the E-Rate System”

    Posted by:

Question: I had a question regarding the proposal , it states “Demonstrated a successful history of participation in the E-Rate System”  although we do not currently have a history in the E-Rate system. We do have a number of references from other school districts that we have worked with. I would be happy to provide references from these jobs. With that said if our references will be sufficient for this item we would be happy to place a bid for the project.

Answer: Due to the critical nature of E-Rate funding, the district prefers to work with vendors who understand and have worked through the complexities of the process. We will, however, take into account additional references when evaluating responses.

  • Are there floor plans available for where the access points will be placed?

Question: Are there floor plans available for where the access points will be placed?

Answer: The floor plans posted on our site in the 2018-FFC8-Wifi RFP Maps and Data Closet Info file reflect the current locations of the access points. Site plans can vary depending on the manufacturer and the configuration of the controller and access points. Therefore, we are requiring that the proposing company design a site plan that they feel will perform best in our buildings.
