  • Hello my name is Matthew Sutter.  I’m very excited to be partnered together in your student’s education.  I have been lucky enough to be a part of this district the past 11 years, and to have experienced all of them at FFCHS.  I currently hold a Master’s of Science in Sports Management, with a Coaching Emphasis from American Military University.  I received my Bachelors of Arts in K-12 Physical Education from York College in Nebraska.  While at FFCHS I have taught Team Sports, Lifetime Activities, Weights and Conditioning, Health, and Swim.  I was also lucky enough to teach a few classes at the Welte Education.  In the past I have been a member of the football coaching staff, both boys' and girls' basketball programs, as well as the current head golf coach.  I enjoy coaching athletics, playing golf with my beautiful family, being outdoors, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.  I have a few guiding principles as an educator.  They include:  passion, compassion, and standards.  The first principle refers to my attitude toward the things we will learn and the second refers to my attitude towards students.  The third principle produces results.  Your student’s success matters to me.  I will define my own success by their growth and development as a physical fit individual, reader, writer, thinker, and person.  These are exciting life skills that must be developed.  If we all have an open mind and attitude; along with a willingness to participate, I believe my classes will be highly enjoyable and a great part of any students day.
