    Significant Support Needed:

In the Significant Support Needed (SSN) classroom, all academic areas are adapted and tailored to the students IEP goals and needs to meet the standards appropriately. Within the classroom, we focus on independence and self-advocacy. Students learn social skills at the beginning of the week and are able to practice those throughout the school year across different settings in order to generalize that skill.

The vision of the SSN program is: “To structure, support, and build students’ lives effectively and functionally to maintain current skills and develop self-sufficient daily life skills in order to participate effectively and as independently as possible in many different settings.”
