Course I (typically a 6th grade course):

This course is designed to teach the math academic standards for 6th grade Colorado students. 

Topics include:

·         Add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers

·         Decimal operations

·         Evaluating algebraic expressions

·         Solve one-step equations with integer coefficients

·         Solve two-step equations with integer coefficients

·         Mean, median, mode, and range

·         Stem and leaf plots

·         Ratios and unit rates

·         Converting customary units

·         Distributive property

·         Area of select 2D objects

·         Volume of select 2D objects

·         Graphing on the coordinate plane
