  •  Important Upcoming Dates:

    • March 16 - April 17: CLOSED

     

    To help mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Colorado, on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Colorado Governor Jared Polis ordered that all public and private schools across the state suspend in-person learning from March 23 to April 17.

     

    Educators and leadership in FFC8 have already started working on how to provide educational resources for students and families and planning for how to ensure that students can continue to receive breakfast and lunch while schools are closed. More information on those topics will be coming.


     

    Online Bus Registration

    Bus registration is still required for last minute emergency situations (i.e. working late, change of plans, or your car breaks down).  Even if you do not think you will use it, register anyway! It is better to have it, then not!

    E-Learning Sources

            Below is a link to a list of E-Learning options for your children during this school closure. It is comprised of a variety of different subjects that teachers and staff members throughout the whole district have put together. The list is provided only as a supplemental learning resource for parents and students and is not an endorsement of alignment to our district curriculum. We understand that not all students have the resources or the opportunity to participate in these E-Learning options including teachnological constraints that some families may have and individual learning needs.

    School Hours

            Hours: 7:20 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.

    • Students arriving after 7:20 a.m. will be marked tardy.
    • A reverse tardy will be reflected for students who are signed out before the end of the school day.

    Phone Messages and Change of Plans

    • Call the office before 2:00 p.m. so that the office has time to get the message to your student before the bell rings.
    • If plans change on how your student will be going home, please call the office to let us know, ASAP.  This allows more time for your student to know.

    Hello Aragon!

    Kate the Great here! Due to the circumstances, Principal Landrum and I agreed to close up the Aragon program. I entered in as everyone running the average of 30 laps. If anyone requests a refund, we will 100% provide that.
     
    We aren't sure when school will be reopened, but I will do my best to get the students their prizes that they earned.
