Hello!  

September has started off great!  Our after school clubs have begun to meet with more continuing to be added.  We also have student council officers for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.  These are important roles for our school as they are tasked with identifying ways to make our school better from our student perspective.  We are excited to get working with them this year!  

The rest of September will keep us focusing on kindness and solidifying the routines of the school and each classroom.  I would encourage all families to ask their students about their social contracts in their classrooms and how they use them.  That has been a great focus over the last 4 weeks of school!  

We are halfway through Quarter 1, so over the next few weeks we will continue to gather information about students that we will be able to share at Parent Teacher Conferences during the week of October 16-20!  Please refer to the upcoming events for a list of what's coming.  Of important is the Fall Festival on October 6th.  The PTO has asked for some help in preparing for this event with donations of candy or any small items that can be given away as prizes for the games!  If you can help out in any way, please let me know or contact the office!  Also, please save your box tops and bring them to the carnival.  These can be used to play games!!
